第一個IG合作廠商竟然是我們家一直有在吃的 @ruyitaiwan 實在是太幸運了！

以前每年回台灣探親我媽一定會幫我打包如邑堂的濃抹茶太陽餅和鐵觀音太陽餅，每次回紐約都要冰到冷凍庫保存之後慢慢吃🥹

在紐約拿出來請美國朋友吃，反應也都很熱烈，是非常適合做國民外交的台灣伴手禮 🇹🇼

濃抹茶和鐵觀音口味就不多說了，他們使用海藻糖不會太甜，但茶味超級濃，苦中帶微甜，絕對是茶控必買🍵

這次合作很幸運可以吃到新口味「鹽之花起司太陽餅」和「法式國王太陽餅」，這兩個也很好吃！

「法式國王太陽餅」是與國際主廚江振誠共同研發，千層酥皮搭配內餡的蘭姆酒杏仁奶油很香很濃，口感酥鬆，很適合配茶或咖啡☕

「鹽之花起司太陽餅」則是鹹甜鹹甜，我本來以為吃起來會很奇怪，結果意外很好吃！層次很豐富～

我自己偏好口感清爽、微苦不會太甜的口味，所以我會私心推濃抹茶、鐵觀音跟鹽之花起司～

另外，海外遊子跟太陽餅控有福啦，他們現在滿台幣2500元港澳新馬都免運，跟一兩個朋友湊一單就可以享受到家鄉味了💕💕

I can't believe my first-ever Instagram brand collab is with @ruyitaiwan — a brand my family has been buying for years. I am so lucky🥹

Every time I came back to Taiwan to visit family, my mom would always pack boxes of Ruyi Tang's Matcha and Tieguanyin Sun Cakes for me. I'd stash them in my freezer back in New York and slowly ration them because I never wanted to run out.

I've also shared them with my American friends in New York, and they LOVED them. They're honestly one of my favorite Taiwanese souvenirs to bring overseas.

The Matcha and Tieguanyin flavors are my all time favorites. They use trehalose instead of loading them up with sugar, so they're NOT TOO SWEET (the best compliment you can get from an Asian)! The tea flavor is incredibly rich, slightly bitter with just a hint of sweetness—basically a must-buy if you're a tea lover.

This time I also got to try two new flavors: Sea Salt Cheese and French King Sun Cake, and both were surprisingly delicious.

The French King Sun Cake has a rich buttery aroma with a thicker, fluffier texture that's perfect with tea or coffee.

The Sea Salt Cheese Sun Cake is sweet, salty, and cheesy. I honestly thought it sounded a little strange at first, but it ended up being SO GOOD.

Personally, I gravitate toward flavors that are refreshing, slightly bitter, and NOT TOO SWEET, so my favorites are definitely the Matcha, Tieguanyin, and Sea Salt Cheese.

And good news for fellow Taiwanese living abroad (and anyone obsessed with sun cakes): they now offer free shipping to HK, SG, and Malaysia orders over NT$2,500. Split an order with 1-2 friends, and you can have a little taste of home delivered right to your door. ❤️
